Kanesaka Yukari Kai was founded in 1979 by master artist Kyūka Kanesaka in hopes of introducing the traditional art of Japanese Kimekomi dolls to the mainstream communities in the United States. Yukari Kai promotes Kimekomi dolls through instructional classes, exhibits, and participation in community events.
